Plett River Lodge is on the National Road (the N2) just 5 km from Plettenberg Bay in the direction of Port Elizabeth.
It is a comfortable 5-hour drive from Cape Town International Airport. Follow the N2 National Highway in an easterly direction towards the Garden Route, passing Swellendam, Mossel Bay, George and Knysna, before you reach Plettenberg Bay. Alternatively, take the R62 from Cape Town and travel in an easterly direction towards Oudtshoorn from where you will head south towards George where you join the N2 to Plettenberg Bay.
Once you have reached Plettenberg Bay, continue along the N2 and head in an easterly direction towards Keurbooms. Just before the Bitou River Bridge turn right into Plett River Lodge.
From Port Elizabeth International Airport, Plett River Lodge is just 2 hours' drive. Head in a westerly direction towards Tsitsikamma, passing Jeffrey's Bay and Humansdorp. Once through the Tsitsikamma Tollgate (currently R11.50 per car), drive through The Crags before descending down the Keurbooms Hill. Go over the Keurbooms Bridge (with the boat club on your left), pass the Wittedrift / R340 turnoff and go over the Bitou River Bridge. Plett River Lodge is a couple of hundred metres further on your left.
There are connecting flights from all South African international airports to George National Airport, which is an hour's drive from Plett River Lodge. You can either hire a car from a number of internationally recognised car hire agencies, or take a transfer with a local transfer company.
